Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson has come under fire from fans after he made an appearance in Drake’s polygamy-themed music video after being caught up in several cheating scandals.

In the video for Falling Back Drake is seen gearing up to marry 27 brides and receives a pep talk from his best man Tristan prior to making his way to the  alter.

The video was released on Thursday when Drake dropped his surprise album Honestly, Nevermind, which came just hours after Tristan’s latest cheating scandal was unveiled in the series finale of The Kardashians.

‘You ready?’ Tristan was seen asking the rapper, who replied, ‘Yeah, I’m ready,’ as they prepared for the ceremony.

‘Doesn’t feel right, we scrap it, we go home, it’s done,’ Tristan stated ahead of the Jewish wedding.

‘No, I’m good bro. It’s a good time for me, you know, I’m ready to settle down. I’m in love,’ the Canadian singer replied.

The video came after Khloe was seen raging on The Kardashians after learning that Tristan had not only cheated on her again – but that he had fathered a secret child with another woman.

The 37-year-old reality star made the shock discovery when her sister Kim read a story on DailyMail.com, which exclusively revealed the news that the former NBA player had admitted to fathering a child in court papers.

In the latest episode of the family’s reality show, an emotional Khloe was seen breaking down in tears as she slammed Tristan for ‘humiliating’ her with another public scandal, while making it clear that she was done with her former partner – who she had been dating on and off since 2016 – for good.

The episode aired shortly before his cameo in Falling Back was revealed, prompting shocked fans to tweet: ‘Drake really married 23 women in his new “Falling Back” music video and had Tristan Thompson as his best man’; ‘the fact that drake put tristan thompson in this video where he’s marrying 22 women at once is hilarious’;

Later in the Falling Back music video, a rabbi is seen asking Drake: ‘Do you commit yourself to being a good husband according to our values and traditions?’

‘I do,’ Drake replied. The rabbi then asked the first woman whether she was committed to being a good wife, to which she – and all the ladies behind her – replied ‘I do’ all at once.

The rapper then exchanged rings and secret handshakes with each of the stunning women, as they made their way down the line.

While the video is wedding themed, the song lyrics appear to deal with some heart break, as Drake sings: ‘How do you say to my face, “Time heals”?/ Then go and leave me again, unreal/ I see us fadin’ away/ I’m still holdin’ my breath for the day that you will/ See that the effort I make is too real/ How can you say that you know how I feel?’

He continues to sing about a seemingly cold-hearted woman: ‘You don’t feel nothing, wait/ Nothing is healing, wait/ Time is just killing, wait.’

Drake thrilled his 113M Instagram fans on Thursday, with the announcement that he would be releasing a new album titled Honestly, Nevermind at midnight.

Yet after staying up to listen to the tracks, fans were not impressed, questioning why he’d opted for a creative change and released a house music album.

Taking to Twitter, fans penned: ‘Honestly Nevermind is quite frankly what drake should have done before he decided to release whatever the fuck this album is.’; ‘Drake is in his laziest era and it will impact his legacy in the long run, constantly choosing relevancy over creating high quality bodies of work.’

‘Pretending to agree with people that Drake’s “surprise” album is actually good is exhausting. It’s whack.’; ‘Drake dropped Scorpion and I really thought it was hands down his worst album ever, but NEVER did I think his next album would be worse and the NEXT album even WORSE than THAT. omg.’

It comes after Drake sent fans into a frenzy when he posted the cover art for the project, which is his seventh studio album, following last year’s release of Certified Lover Boy.

‘7th studio album “HONESTLY, NEVERMIND” out at midnight,’ the Canadian hitmaker captioned the photo, simply featuring the name of the new album.

Drake then released the tracklist for the project, which was comprised of 14 titles including Falling Back, Calling My Name, and Jimmy Cooks – a reference to Jimmy Brooks, the popular character he played on the Canadian teen series Degrassi.

The album came as a complete surprise, with the musician doing no prior promotion for it.

The exciting announcement was liked by nearly 2 million of his followers within the first two hours, including former rap rival Kanye West, 45.

The swiftness of the new project might be partly due to the God’s Plan star’s reported recent singing of a $400 million recording contract earlier this year.

On May 3 Sir Lucian Grainge – head of Universal Music Group – confirmed that Drake signed a massive ‘expansive, multi-faceted deal’ with the label, as reported by Variety.

The deal ‘encompasses recordings, publishing, merchandise and visual media projects.’

Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, was released via his own imprint OVO Sound under license to Republic Records (owned by UMG).

The album landed him a nomination for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

However, the artist – who’s won four Grammys in the past – withdrew himself from running for the awards.

The chart-topper has been known to be critical of the Grammys, and in a response to a Grammy snub of The Weeknd in 2020, he wrote on Instagram urging for a new platform.

‘I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after.’

He added, ‘This is a great time for somebody to start something new that we can build up over time and pass on to the generations to come.’
