Warhammer 40K: Vashtorr the Arkifane revealed

Games Workshop shows a power of the Warp. Meet Vashtorr the Arkifane.

There was a lot of excitement for Warhammer Preview Online and GW did not disappoint. There is a new (old) force in the warp that is making its presence felt in realspace. The Arkifane arrives.

Vashtorr the Arkifane

Described as a Warp demigod, Vashtorr is a creature of the Warp made manifest. This entity serves no Chaos Gods – in fact, it has ambitions to become one of their own! Born from the collective creative psychic energies that coalesced into the Warp Vashtorr, the Arkifane is something of a Chaos arms dealer. You can see from the design that Vashtorr is the kind of “thing” that inspires Chaos Engines.

A creature that mixes both flesh and metal. A spawn of the Warp who serves no Chaos God. Vashtorr is something new…or maybe something old. This demigod does not represent a demon prince with mechanical parts – the Arkifane is something new. And he has a friend in Abaddon… (finally as friendly as possible with Abaddon). Perhaps knowledge of the workplace is a better descriptor.

Stay tuned for more from Vashtorr…
