Warzone 2.0 reworks several key mechanics in Call of Duty’s hit battle royale. It introduces a new circle mechanica Gulag 2v2 which allows you to work with your opponents, and even a new armor system.
Perks are also seeing big changes. You can no longer customize your own benefit package and choose them individually.
Instead, the game’s 17 perks have been sorted into various combinations of eight perk packages. You’ll need to pick the one that best suits your playstyle, although it’s not necessarily the exact selection you want.
Here’s a rundown of the best perk packages to use in Warzone 2.0.
All the benefits of Warzone 2.0
Similar to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, perks have been sorted into base, bonus, and ultimate perks. Base Perks are active at the start of the match, Bonus Perks activate after four minutes, and Ultimate Perks kick in after eight minutes.
Each set of perks includes two base perks, one bonus perk, and one ultimate perk.

The 3 Best Perk Packages in Warzone 2.0
Here are the eight Warzone 2.0 perk packages:
- Vanguard: Double Time, Bomb Squad, Resupply, High Alert
- Commando: Scavenger, Strong Arm, Quick Hands, High Alert
- Spectrum: Double Time, Tracker, Spotter, Ghost
- Scout: Scavenger, Strong Arm, Focus, Ghost
- Sentinel: Battle Hardened, Bomb Squad, Cold One, Overclock
- Director: Double Time, Strong Arm, Fast Hands, Overclock
- Weapons Specialist: Overpower, Strong Arm, Watcher, Survivor
- Acknowledgement : Double Time, Tracker, Focus, Birdseye
Ghost remains one of the best perks in the game, especially in Al Mazrah. It hides drones, handheld radars, and heart rate sensors from you, making it easier for you to avoid detection and gain the upper hand over opponents.
Concealing your location is everything in a battle royale game, especially if you prefer to take a slower approach to the game.
Spotter and Tracker are also useful perks, allowing you to spot buildings before entering and spot retreating enemies.
Finally, Double Time could help you escape quickly or engage faster. It could also prove vital when flanking opponents, allowing you to get into position faster.
Weapons Specialist is another strong choice. This is the only perk set to feature Overkill, increasing the firepower you bring to the battlefield.
This means you can use both a sniper rifle and a shorter range SMG, allowing you to tackle a wide range of engagements.
While Strong Arm isn’t the most useful perk, the package makes up for that with Spotter and Survivor. Survivor, in particular, can be useful in helping you get out of a pinch, making it easier for your team to save you after you fall.
Vanguard has several useful perks to get out of a tight spot. Along with the extra agility you get from Double Time, it also comes with Bomb Squad, which can save you from pesky claymore or other explosives.
Resupply lets you secure buildings with additional deadly gear that recharges over time, while High Alert will let you know if someone is watching.
However, you should always be on your guard. If enemies are equipped with the Cold-Blooded perk, they will not trigger a High Alert warning.
